Q: What headphones are supported? A: When listening with compatible Apple or Beats headphones, supported songs will automatically play in Dolby Atmos. For other headphones, go to Settings > Music > Audio and set the Dolby Atmos switch to Always On. On iOS, Bluetooth headphones that are recognised automatically or are designated as headphones in Settings > Bluetooth are all supported when Dolby Atmos is set to Automatic. On macOS, supported songs automatically play in Dolby Atmos when you’re listening with compatible Apple or Beats headphones. If you want to use other headphones that don’t support automatic playback, choose Always On. Q: What speakers are supported? You can hear Dolby Atmos music using the built-in speakers on compatible iPhones, iPads and MacBook Pros or by connecting your Apple TV 4K to a compatible TV or AV receiver. You can also listen to Dolby Atmos on HomePod. Q: What are the OS requirements? A: Please update your iPhone, iPad or Mac to the latest version of iOS, iPadOS or macOS.
